Community Outreach: Support and Safety Nets

​

The Culture and Student Services Team is forming partnerships within the community to further enhance our services and support systems for all students and families.  LEAD mentors from VHS are working with senior citizens at Pines Village, preschoolers at Little Lamb, and Around the table events across town. In addition, LEAD mentors played a vital role in helping the Amanda Forum design and present their first NWI Region-wide Teen Dating Violence Prevention Youth Leadership Conference for schools from across both Lake and Porter Counties!

 

 The CSST believes that it takes a village to raise a child, and we are reaching out to the community, building bridges to create a safer and more engaged village and strong developmental assets for our kids.
