Responsiveness:

​In addition to pro-active efforts to educate, empower, and support our students, the key to creating a safer climate for kids lies in adult responsiveness to needs and issues of our population and community.  When issues arise, the way the adults respond makes all the difference.  The CSST is dedicated to examining and enhancing our district’s systems of student management, discipline, and support in order to ensure we are consistent and following current best practice.  What truly helps students?  What is fair, equitable, and logical?  What message are we sending?  How do our structures contribute to safer, more positive culture in our buildings? How do we help all kids develop the assets they need to thrive? These are the questions we will ask as we create a culture of connectedness and success for all students in our district.
